2/3/22: "Texas parent who demanded Michelle Obama biography be removed from schools called the book 'leftist indoctrination,' document shows" - First off, as a parent if you don't want your kid reading a book, just don't check it out for your kid. Second, if the kid does want to read it, it shows that the child is wanting to be better educated then their parent by at least wanting to know more about subjects from both sides. As a person I fully admit that I am a Democrat, but at the same time I do read books by Republicans so that I can know what they are basing their arguments on. Then sometimes you can be amazed when you actual find a book with someone from other political views that just make common sense and touch on topics that cross political lines. For me it was Jeb Bush's book on immigration reform. As someone that has personally worked with immigrants and have had to deal with visas a lot of what he said would actually make an improvement to how we do things. It's parents like this article shows that is causing our country to become dumber and split the country with political hate. - https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/lifestyle-buzz/texas-parent-who-demanded-michelle-obama-biography-be-removed-from-schools-called-the-book-leftist-indoctrination-document-shows/ar-AATs9qP?ocid=winp1taskbar

2/4/22: "By Celebrating Black History Month, Alabama Teachers Are Accused of Promoting Critical Race Theory" - Black history month predates Critical Race Theory and there is a difference between the two. People who do not understand the difference are just not educated enough to know the difference. At the same time it also does not mean that people are not working CRT into Black History Month material/event/..... There are a lot of issues with CRT not being based in history and should not be called "race" because it just focuses on people that identify as black and does not take into account all of the other "races" out there. At the same time using the term "race" is very dated an biased because it does not take into account region, culture, or personal identity. - https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/by-celebrating-black-history-month-alabama-teachers-are-accused-of-promoting-critical-race-theory/ar-AATtQ7c?ocid=winp1taskbar
