Why

I started this blog to share all the different cultural experiences a person can have in Colorado and to look at larger topics around JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion). People do not always realize just how diverse Colorado is and all the different cultural experiences they can have here. I have also expanded this blog past just Colorado because of how complex the topic of culture is and how national and international cultural topics can impact peoples' lives. 

I hope that this blog can also be used as an education source. I make sure to include references so that people can find the sources where I get my information and I review different types of media, like news articles and books, on the information that they provide on different topics. Yes, my own opinions and bias are also  a part of this blog, but they have been built by my extensive research into the related topics. I am also always learning and if anyone has any resources that they want to refer to me or have me pick apart I am more then willing to check them out.
