Heard back from the Governor's office. It is nice that they support our activism on this subject and I did also reach out to the additional people that they mentioned in the email.

Negative Updates:

Below is an email from Rich at the Convention Center. Even though they do not have legal reasons to stop Gina's appearance they forget that has a business they can control who comes in and that they do have moral obligations to the community they serve. He also forgets that Fan Expo is still new to running this con and that they do not have the community's best interest in mind and only what money they can make off of people. He does not understand how many people will just avoid the event because they do not feel like it is a safe place and how her appearance is impacting their mental health. This also does not take into account the type of fans she attracts. Has her fans have already proven on social media, like attacks that I have shared on Geeked Colorado and my personal Facebook page, that they are willing to at least verbally attack people and use threats of violence to try and intimidate people. All of this is happening before people even set foot at the Convention Center and will just keep them away. This is a huge failure on the Convention Center's part to serve the whole community.
